Nature’s Beauty
The sun will rise from sea to land
Red, yellow, and orange we see
Its rays do glisten on the sand
To an incandescent degree.
The morning dew on petals flee,
And fawns in forests do awake.
The grizzly bear soon becomes free
From slumber past, a stretch to take.
The sun rises, morning upon us, do partake!
When berries fall down from the trees,
The squirrels scurry, quick as light,
To have as many as they please.
The hungry rodents, small, with might,
Shimmy their tails with a first bite.
Routines of sharing nature’s meal,
As if to welcome back from night
No other creature wants to steal
Bounty’s plenty, prize to small squirrels, they conceal!
We must remember every day
This Earth, a gift, we share a space
How lucky that we are to say
Our safety lies within this place.
And all across the human race,
A message we shall surely send
To look at nature face to face,
Conserve the Earth, for we depend,
Its beauty, if not careful, will come to an end!
